Elin is a social anthropologist and researcher within the field of Human-Computer Interaction. She started her Ph.D. student position at the Mobile Life Centre and Stockholm University in May 2011.
Elin does research focused on ethnographic methods and analysis. She has done fieldwork at sports bars, among amateur broadcasters and amateur meteorologists. Her interests lies mainly with peoples leisure activities, nature experiences and also the role of technology within these areas.
Elin holds a Master in Social Anthropology at University of Lund. She is also working part time (20%) as an assistant for the administrative coordinator at Mobile Life Centre.
